In addition to serving as an Independent Trustee of the Centre Funds, Dr. James L. Grant is Associate Dean of Graduate Programs, College of Management, University of Massachusetts Boston, President of JLG Research, and Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at University of Massachusetts Boston. Dr. Grant has served as an advisory analyst at major Wall Street firms including Credit Suisse Asset Management and GAM. Dr. Grant holds a Ph.D. in Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and he has been a featured speaker at industry conferences on value-based metrics. Dr. Grant serves on the editorial advisory boards of The Journal of Portfolio Management and Journal of Investing. Dr. Grant has published several articles in finance and investment journals and he has contributed chapters to investment books. Dr. Grant is the author of Foundations of Economic Value Added Second Edition, the co-author of Focus on Value: A Corporate and Investor Guide to Wealth Creation, and co-author and co-editor (with Frank J. Fabozzi) of Equity Portfolio Management and Value-Based Metrics: Foundations and Practice. His writings on the value-based metrics approach to securities analysis have been adopted by the CFA® Institute.

Al Ghosh, Ph.D.

In addition to serving as an Independent Trustee of the Centre Funds, Dr. Al Ghosh is Professor of Accountancy at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, The City University of New York. Dr. Ghosh is also the Director of the Executive MS in Financial Statement Analysis and Securities Valuation and the Doctoral Program Coordinator of Accountancy at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College. In the past, Professor Ghosh has served as the Accounting Academic Fellow at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as a Visiting Associate Professor at the Goizueta Business School of Emory University. Dr. Ghosh serves as an adviser to several leading hedge funds in the U.S. and around the world on accounting matters including serving as a Council Member at Gerson Lehrman Group. Dr. Ghosh holds a Ph.D. in Business and Economics from Tulane University, New Orleans. Dr. Ghosh regularly features as an invited speaker in different industry and academic conferences. Professor Ghosh has published in leading accounting and finance journals including Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, and Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, among other journals. He also serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for these journals.

Joseph M. Marinaro

Joseph M. Marinaro serves as an Independent Trustee of the Centre Funds. Mr. Marinaro is the Managing Member of JMM Capital and Consulting LLC, a business consulting and private investment firm. Mr. Marinaro has spent nearly his entire career in the financial services industry, holding executive positions in firms ranging from start-up level through established global investment banks. Mr. Marinaro's selected executive experience includes: Chief Business Development and Strategy Officer of Surge Trading, a venture capital backed electronic equity market-making firm. Managing Director with Morgan Stanley where he served as a senior operating executive in the Global Wealth Management Division. Mr. Marinaro was the founder and Managing Member of JMM Specialists LLC, a broker-dealer and equity specialist on the floor of the Chicago Stock Exchange. For fourteen years he served in various strategic and operating roles as a Managing Director with SG Cowen Securities Corporation (and its predecessor Cowen & Company). As a Corporate Vice President with Drexel Burnham Lambert, he held primarily operations management roles. His career started with Merrill Lynch. Mr. Marinaro is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Boston Stock Exchange and served as a Member of the Advisory Board for NYFIX Millennium, one of the first equity Alternative Trading Systems. He has served on advisory committees for several stock and derivative exchanges. Mr. Marinaro has a B.S. in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and has held Series 7, 24, and 63 FINRA Registrations.
